Our Wildfire Leather GTX M by Salewa is a versatile and supportive men's shoe that is ideal for everyday use and demanding outdoor activities. With its close-fitting cut and reinforcement made of robust Kevlarwires, it offers plenty of mobility and at the same time firm support in the ankleand heel area. These features make the shoe perfect for easy ascents, technical climbs and even simple alpine climbing.
Thanks to the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane, your feet stay dry and well protected even in rapidly changing mountain weather. The upper material is made from high-quality, hard-wearing 1.4 mm thick suede and is additionally protected by a 360° all-roundpolyurethaneedge. The Pomoca™ Speed MTN Path outsole provides excellent grip and a secure hold, even on soft terrain. The S-Path technology supports the foot's natural rolling motion, while the toe, specially developed for climbing, offers good grip on flat rock and smaller ledges.
The adjustable climbing lacing system allows for a snug fit, and the breathable OrthoLite footbed ensures a high level of comfort and quickly wicks moisture away. In addition, a rubbertoe cap protects your feet from injury. Weighing just 360 g (size 8 UK), the shoe is light and comfortable to wear, and the stretch gaiter offers additional protection against dirt and small stones.
