The hybrid Vento AM Hybrid Jacket W from Salewa is the ideal companion for women who are passionate about cycling. Made from the soft AlpineWool® material, this jacket combines the natural benefits of merino wool and Tencel™Lyocell fibers. Merino wool, known for its odour-neutralizing properties, comes from mountain sheep, while Tencel™ is obtained from the renewable raw material wood in an environmentally friendly process. The smooth fiber surface of Tencel™ ensures excellent moisture management and high wearing comfort.
The merino wool blend has been reinforced with polyamide fibers for even more durability and longevity. The jacket has an athletic cut with a longer back and extra-long sleeves, which have been specially developed for the requirements of biketours. These design features ensure that the wrist remains well protected even when riding. Thanks to the bodymapping principle, different materials are strategically positioned on different parts of the body to ensure the best possible functionality.
The front of the jacket is equipped with a wind-repellent yet breathable nylon-Tencel™ insert, which ensures cozy warmth even on fast descents. Practical features such as a zipped pocket at the back, a full-length front zipper and a high collar that protects against the wind make the jacket particularly functional.
