Salewa SET VIA Ferrata Ergo TEX

The Dolomites are famous for their spectacular, historic iron paths. In this via ferrata paradise, we have developed Salewa's via ferrata sets - and put them through their paces. The Via Ferrata Ergo Tex set is an extremely ergonomic, ultra-compact and lightweight via ferrata set. It has elasticated load arms made from abrasion-resistant fabric and a swivel joint between the tie-in loop and load arms. The Ergo Tex via ferrata set therefore ensures simple, user-friendly handling and a high level of safety on tour. The ergonomic Ergotec 3.0 carabiners sit comfortably in the hand - and are easy to use even when wearing gloves. Thanks to the extra-large opening, the carabiners can be quickly and safely attached to and detached from the wire rope without the risk of getting your fingers caught between the wire rope and gate. Unintentional opening is prevented by the automatic carabinerlocking mechanism. An absolutely valuable feature that makes Salewa's via ferrata set even more user-friendly is the swivel joint. It effectively prevents the arms from twisting when clipping on and enables handling close to the body. We have created a special asymmetrical design for the swivel joint, which makes it even easier to turn and even more comfortable to use. And if you need to take a short break, you can simply clip yourself into the via ferrata using the integrated snap-in loop on the shock absorber. The via ferrata set is attached to the harness via Salewa's new, patented and elasticated tie-in loop.
