Salewa SET VIA Ferrata Ergo TEX

The SET VIA Ferrata Ergo TEX by Salewa is a state-of-the-art, ultra-compact and lightweight via ferrata set specially developed for demanding hikes and via ferratas. With its elasticated load arms made of abrasion-resistant fabric and an efficient swivel between the tie-in loop and load arms, it offers user-friendly handling and maximum safety. The ergonomic Ergotec 3.0 carabiners are self-closing and can be easily operated even when wearing gloves. Thanks to the extra-large carabiner lock opening, quick and safe clipping and unclipping from the wire rope is guaranteed without the risk of getting your fingers caught.
A special highlight of the Ergo Tex via ferrata set is the swivel joint, which effectively prevents the arms from twisting when being harnessed and enables close-to-the-body handling. The asymmetrical design of the swivel ensures that it is even easier to turn, making it even easier to use. The integrated latching loop on the shock absorber allows you to take a short break if necessary and safely clip into the via ferrata.
The set is designed for a user weight of 40 to 120 kg and meets the highest safety standards in accordance with EN 958: 2017, UIAA 128 and UKCA certifications. With a breaking load of 27 kN lengthwise, 14 kN open and 7 kN crosswise, it is extremely robust and reliable.
