Salewa Puez Light Powertex M Jacket

The completely waterproof (water column: 10,000 mm), particularly breathable (MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24 h) Puez Light Powertex men's jacket weighs only an incredible 160 grams and thus offers a minimum pack size with maximum storm protection. We designed this sleek jacket specifically for longer alpine treks, like the Dolomiten high trail, where low backpack weight is key. The Puez Light is made of Powertex Eco material, making it waterproof, windproof, breathable and exceptionally compact stowable. The coated construction with fully taped seams consists of a water-repellent shell material in combination with a waterproof/breathable membrane and an additional barrier coating. We also use a protective, eco-friendly Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish so that the shell material does not absorb water and the breathable membrane can continue to perform its function. There is no need for a protective inner lining, making the jacket lighter and even more compressible. Powertex has a pleasantly textured feel that is dry to the touch. This jacket features a slim, athletic fit that still has room for a lightweight, insulating midlayer. It's also cut slightly longer in the back for a better fit when you're moving. The fitted hood, cuffs and hem are elasticized for added protection. Plus, the Puez Light weighs only as much as a couple of apples and compresses to the size of a sandwich.
