Durably waterproof, windproof and breathable men's functional jacket for alpine trekking and hiking made of 2-layer GORE-TEX®. The Salewas Puez 2 Gore-Tex® 2L shell jacket design combines durable protection against wind and water with optimised breathability for maximum comfort. Its 2-layer GORE-TEX® fabric consists of an ultra-thin membrane bonded to the outer fabric. The advantage: We have added a separate inner lining that increases comfort and versatility. The microscopic pores in the membrane are 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, preventing raindrops from penetrating. At the same time, the pores are 700 times larger than water vapour molecules, allowing perspiration to escape and making the membrane breathable. GORE-TEX® offers the ideal balance of light weight and abrasion resistance for use in rocky mountain environments. The Puez 2 Gore-Tex® 2L shell jacket is completely storm-proof thanks to its normal fit, the specially tailored, insulated and adjustable hood at the back, the high, integrated collar and the Velcro fastenings at the sleeve ends. It also has numerous inner and outer pockets and is compatible with all SALEWA® zip-in fleece jackets for alpine trekking.
