The Ortles TWR Stretch M HD Jacket by Salewa offers lightweight all-weather insulation, ideal for aerobic activities in alpine terrain. This jacket is ideal both as a standalone external layer and as a versatile midlayer under a classic shelljacket. The combination of 4-weave-stretch-nylon outer fabric and elastic padding makes this hybrid-jacket an indispensable companion for all mountain activities.
The three-dimensional structure of the fleece fabric of the outer layer ensures excellent air permeability, elasticity and durability as well as optimum moisture transport. The TirolWool® Responsive Stretch filling efficiently dissipates excess heat during intense physical activity and keeps the body warm during a break - even when wet. This filling comes from high alpine Tyrolean mountain sheep and was developed in collaboration with the Tyrolean Mountain Rescue Service. Responsive technology recycles the body's natural infrared energy, gradually releasing it again and thus ensuring greater comfort, better performance and faster recovery.
The adjustable, insulated hood and high front collar provide additional storm protection. The front zipper is equipped with a full-length wind flap on the inside. The jacket also has two outer pockets and a chest pocket with a zipper. With its extremely comfortable stretch-fit, this jacket is an ideal hybrid-layer with all-weather insulation for aerobic alpine use.
