Salewa Ortles TirolWool® Air HD Jacket W
The Ortles TirolWool® Air HD Jacket W by Salewa is the ideal choice for women preparing for alpine adventures such as mixedroutes, steep icefalls and alpine tours. This insulating jacket combines sustainable Tyrolean wool with partially recycled polyester to ensure effective heat retention. The innovative hollow fibers of the material trap air and thus provide excellent insulation, even when wet. With a filling weight of just 100 g, the jacket is lightweight yet incredibly efficient in terms of warmth.
For added protection and durability, the jacket is equipped with Salewa's patented Powertex® fabric, which protects against abrasion and weathering in particularly stressed areas such as the hood, shoulders and sleeves. The helmet-compatible hood offers additional protection from wind and cold, while the two-Wege front zipper allows quick access to belay devices. Two practical meshinside pockets provide ample storage space for small items.
The cuffs are equipped with Velcro fasteners and thumb loops that can be pulled over winter gloves, making the jacket suitable for all winter mountaineering activities. Made in Myanmar, the Ortles TirolWool® Air HD Jacket W combines functionality with sustainability and is an indispensable companion for anyone who ventures into the mountains during the cold season.

How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
