The Ortles Hybrid TWR Jacket W by Salewa has been specially developed for the most demanding mountain sports activities, whether in the Dolomites or in the most remote corners of the world. This women's jacket offers optimum protection in fluctuating indoor- and outdoor temperatures thanks to its proven hybrid bodymapping-structure. Durastretch inserts on the back and sides with a wool content of 22% ensure a comfortable fit and freedom of movement thanks to elastane.
The strategically placed TirolWool® Responsive insulation areas guarantee excellent thermoregulation and warming properties even when wet. TirolWool® Responsive is made from valuable wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep and refined with thermoreactive minerals that recycle the far infrared energy (FIR) emitted by the body and slowly release it again to ensure long-lasting warmth.
For additional weather protection in stormy or cold conditions, the jacket features a close-fitting, insulated hood that can be adjusted at the back. Thanks to the PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, the jacket is also water-repellent. The Durastretch material contains fine merino wool, which makes it pleasantly comfortable to wear next to the skin. The jacket can be quickly stowed away in its own pocket when temperatures rise or during intense activity, making it extremely practical for on the go.
