Made from thick suede leather and equipped with the SALEWA® 3F system with steel wires and a reinforced TPU rand, this mountaineering boot offers exceptional robustness and durability. A stiff insole made of glas- and carbon fiber-reinforced nylon provides additional stability, while the double-density midsole made of expanded polyurethane offers cushioned zones for optimal comfort and precision.
The Vibram® Alpine Guide sole is semi-automatic-crampon compatible and offers excellent grip, durability and reliability, even at low temperatures. The profile of the sole is characterized by self-cleaning lugs and a toe profile designed for climbing with high edge performance. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane keeps your feet warm and dry even on the coldest winter days, while an integrated stretch gaiter prevents snow from getting in.
Additional features such as the Ankle Protector System (APS) and the Flex Collar improve lateral ankle support and mobility in the rear ankle area. The Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) enables individual adjustment of the footbed for optimum support and comfort.
