The Ortles 3 GORE-TEX® Pro trousers are Salewa's durable hardshell trousers made of robust 3L GORE-TEX® Pro fabric and are suitable for alpine mountaineering, ski and glacier tours as well as ice climbing. For many mountain guides, these trousers have been the number one choice for years. We use 3-layer coated GORE-TEX® Pro to make Salewa's most durable and abrasion resistant garments that can be used in extreme and unpredictable conditions. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for rain to penetrate, but large enough for escaping body vapours. All Salewas GORE-TEX® Pro products are highly waterproof, extremely breathable and can be stored in a very space-saving manner. Our Ortles 3 GORE-TEX® Pro trousers have an athletic fit, long, waterproof two-way ventilation zips on the sides, integrated gaiters and reinforced ski edge and crampon protection.
