Salewa Ortles 3 GTX Pro M Jacket

The Ortles 3 GORE-TEX® PRO shell jacket is a 3-layer shell jacket with a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® PRO membrane that can be worn over winter clothing. As it was developed in collaboration with renowned mountain guide associations in the Alps and designed for alpine mountaineering, ski and glacier tours and ice climbing, the jacket is technically equipped with all the features. We use 3 layers of coated GORE-TEX® Pro to create Salewa's most durable and abrasion resistant garment that can be used in extreme and unpredictable conditions. The technology is based on an extremely thin membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). Its pores are too small for penetrating rain, but large enough for escaping body vapors. All Salewas GORE-TEX® Pro products have very high waterproofing, are extremely breathable and can be stowed away to save a lot of space. Equipped with a helmet-compatible and fully adjustable storm hood, plus hidden zippered hood gusset that guarantees an optimal fit with or without a helmet. Our Free Motion cut construction and ergonomic sleeves ensure maximum freedom of movement and prevent riding up the hem when climbing. Other functional features include YKK waterproof zippers, ventilation zippers and a fully waterproof technical finish with taped seams.
