The NXT RDS Down Jacket from Salewa is the perfect companion for demanding mountain adventures. Thanks to its lightweight and compressible design, it can be quickly stowed in your rucksack or attached to your climbing harness without weighing you down.
With a high-quality goose down filling that is certified in accordance with the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), the jacket offers a downfeather ratio of 95/5 and an impressive loft of 850 cuin. These properties ensure excellent insulation with minimal weight. The Downtek™ treatment gives the jacket water-repellent properties without the use of PFAS.
The wind-repellent outer material is made from soft ripstopsoftnylon, which is 100% recycled. The articulated, chamber-cut construction guarantees full freedom of movement, which is particularly beneficial when climbing. Weighing just 310 grams (size 50 Men), the jacket is a lightweight that still offers maximum warmth.

How to measure
- 1. Height:Stand up straight with your feet and back against a wall. Place a flat object (e.g. book) on your head and hold it horizontally against the wall. Now you can measure from the bottom edge of the object to the floor.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
