Motion guidance The Ultra Train 3 is the third generation of Salewa's successful Speed hiking shoe. It is designed for use on paved trails as well as for routes through terrain. The forefoot is wrapped in a breathable mesh upper that is reinforced in high-wear areas with a TPU coating. With Motion Guidance technology, the outsole and midsole work together to support natural foot movement and ensure sure-footedness and stability on any terrain.Flexibility and SupportThe functional 3F system provides flexibility, a snug fit and secure support. The heel counter prevents the heel from slipping and increases the stability and protective function of the shoe. Plus, the OrthoLite® footbed adds cushioning, wicks away moisture, and keeps your feet feeling cool and dry. A stretch gaiter at the tongue prevents dirt or rocks from entering the shoe.Excellent grip and adhesionThe POMOCA® outsole was developed exclusively in collaboration with SALEWA® and convinces on both rocky and wet, slippery surfaces. The S-Path tread pattern ensures that the center of pressure of the foot remains on the ground. This allows for a fast, smooth rollover on a wide variety of uneven terrain.
