Salewa MS Rapace GTX
The MS Rapace GTX from Salewa is the ideal companion for demanding hikes and alpine tours. This lightweight mountaineering boot is made from robust nubuck and abrasion-resistant textile material and features a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® lining. Weighing just 740 g per boot, it offers both comfort and stability, which are essential for via ferratas and challenging mountain tours.
Thanks to Salewa's 3F system, the ankle is optimally supported, while flexibility and fit are not neglected. The Vibram Wrapping Thread Combi (WTC) outsole with its aggressive tread provides excellent grip and a natural feel on rocky terrain. The SALEWA Bilight technology in the midsole guarantees ergonomic and durable cushioning, which significantly increases comfort even on long tours.
The Rapace GTX is also crampon-compatible and therefore suitable for use with hybrid or semi-automatic crampons. The GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining offers optimum climate comfort, while the all-round rubber scree protection edge protects the shoe from chafing and bumps. Other features such as the MFF+ insole and the Climbing Lacing round off the overall package and make this boot an essential piece of equipment for every mountaineer.
