The new version of Salewas MTN Trainers is designed for alpine approaches and mountain activities. It features a rugged upper for optimal durability, while the GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining keeps you dry and comfortable no matter what adventure you plan next. The unique construction is designed over a special last to provide a perfect fit and the optimal combination of flexibility and support. This shoe also features our proprietary 3F system that connects the upper, sole and heel together. Inside the shoe is a shock absorbing EVA midsole for durable rebound. It also features a flexible ankle shank and rubber toe cap for added protection. Underfoot, the rugged outsole ensures reliable grip thanks to the Pomoco rubber compound and tread pattern with deep lugs and notches. The sole provides the necessary versatility for different types of terrain - from mud and grass to rock, ice and snow. The climbing shoe lacing system to the toe area allows greater precision on technical terrain. The MTN Trainer Lite for men is designed according to the traditional footwear craftsmanship in Italy and is a lighter 3 season solution for hiking and faster treks that does not compromise in terms of water resistance.
