Salewa Master Cord 6MM Precut

The high-strength lightweight among the cords - the new standard for knotting slings for use in alpine climbing or technical mountaineering. The newly developed material is characterized by a breaking strength of over 15 kN, maximum weight savings and high UV resistance. The Mastercord is available in four pre-cut lengths and covers a wide range of applications: from belaying, intermediate and self-belaying, prusik, false traction to threading hourglasses. Color coding of Salewa webbing slings and reefing cords: for quick recognition of the correct sling on the harness, the cords are subject to a uniform color system - for easy and safe handling. The basic colors green, blue, red or gray indicate the length of the cords. High-strength materials (Dyneema or UHMWPE) are identifiable by an additional white component, while nylon and PES cords are indicated either by black or no additional color.
