The Fanes 3L Powertex Hemp Parka by Salewa is a functional, well thought-out and weatherproof parka with a removable inner jacket. Its three-layer outer material is made from robust cotton fibers mixed with tear-resistant and sustainable hemp fibers and processed into a technical, waterproof and breathable material in a tightly woven structure with Salewa's proven Powertex technology. Inspired by the functional clothing used to climb the world's highest mountains, the Fanes 3L Powertex Hemp 2-in-1 parka impresses with a highly functional high-tech-cotton blend.
It's not just the clean design and understated look that make the parka a versatile companion: thanks to the well thought-out choice of materials and technical features, the jacket can be used from fall to spring. If the inner jacket is removed, the softshell jacket is suitable for mild but wet weather. In cooler but dry conditions, the warm and padded TirolWool® Responsive jacket can also be worn on its own. In winter, both layers are combined: the insulating parka offers warmth and weather protection when it gets cold and uncomfortable.
The jacket is equipped with an environmentally friendly PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish, and the TirolWool® comes from Tyrolean mountain sheep from the region.
