Salewa Comici W Pants

A wind and water-repellent pants inspired by a legend Designed for maximum protection and maximum comfort, with a special cut for unrestricted freedom of movement during extreme and long high mountain tours. The Comici pants are named after Italian climbing legend Emilio Comici, perhaps one of the greatest climbers of all time. With its bodymapping construction, it combines Salewa's proprietary Stormwall fabric with additional AlpineWool® insulation. Hybrid construction Stormwall is a stretch softshell material that features a windproof membrane and a PFC-free water repellent impregnation. When developing the material, comfort was the top priority. For this, it is important that moisture in the form of water vapor can easily escape to the outside - so you stay warm and dry. In addition, the elastane content gives you plenty of freedom of movement so that you can move quickly on technical terrain. At the seat and thighs, we have additionally insulated the pants with AlpineWool® inserts. These are made from wool from high mountain sheep and polyester yarns. Ergonomic alpine featuresFor added durability, we have used double stitching throughout. The two leg pockets lay flat when empty and are easy to reach. In addition, the pants have a patch cargo pocket. Side ventilation zippers let you regulate your body temperature on the go to keep you fresh and comfortable. The leg is cut closer at the lower leg with zippers and fastening hooks to ensure a secure fit over your boots without slipping leg ends. This reduces the risk of getting caught on your crampons. For added cut and abrasion resistance, the inside of the legs are reinforced with Cordura®. And the integrated gaiters prevent snow from getting in. A durable, water-resistant alpine pant with added AlpineWool® insulation and a PFC-free DWR finish.
