Optimal weather protection & wearing comfort for long high mountain tours The Comici pants combine the advantages of Salewa's own developed Stormwall material with an additional insulation of wool through its bodymapping design. It offers maximum protection, unrestricted freedom of movement and optimal comfort for extreme and long loads on alpine terrain. These pants are named after Emilio Comici, who was probably one of the greatest climbers of all time. Hybrid construction Stormwall is a breathable softshell material with a windproof membrane and a PFC-free water repellent impregnation. It easily allows moisture to escape in the form of water vapor to keep you warm and dry. The mechanical four-way stretch gives you unrestricted freedom of movement on technical terrain. On the buttocks and thighs, we've also insulated the pants with wool. Made for the mountains The two leg pockets lie flat when empty and are easy to reach. In addition, the pants have a patch cargo pocket. Side ventilation zippers let you regulate your body temperature on the go. For added durability, we used double stitching throughout. The tighter leg cut at the lower leg with zipper and attachment hooks ensures a secure fit of the leg ends over the boots. This reduces the risk of getting caught on your crampons and tearing the pants. Cordura® reinforced inner leg panels increase cut and abrasion resistance, and integrated gaiters prevent snow from penetrating. A durable, water-resistant alpine pant with added wool insulation and a PFC-free DWR finish.
