The Apex Guide is a functional backpack for mountaineers - for days when you start at dawn and have steep ascents, glaciers, technically demanding climbs and long descents to master. The Apex Guide with the Dry Back Contact carrying system puts an end to this problem. The system lowers the temperature in the middle of the back and reduces sweating by reducing the contact area with the body. It also features an integrated micro ventilation system with 3D air channels that increases airflow to your back. The Apex Guide has other smart solutions that make it the perfect companion for mountaineering. It's made from ROBIC®, a special high-strength nylon that's 60% more tear-resistant than traditional backpacking nylon fabrics. This means it can withstand everything from rocks to crampons to ice axes. It also has a protective flap with a top pocket and an external safety pocket to stow your avalanche shovel and probe. For functional simplicity, the magnetic closure system allows you to attach a rope with one hand. The roll-top system makes it easy to adjust the capacity to stabilize and center the load.
