The MURNAU presents itself as a progressive, performance-focused biking glove made in large part from recycled materials. The textile used for the backhand is elastic, breathable Revolutional Eco Lycra (made from ECONYL®, a yarn consisting of 100% regenerated nylon waste), which is super robust yet feels soft and supple against the skin, making this long-finger model highly comfortable to wear. Large cut-outs have been underlaid with airy Italian Eco Micro Mesh made from recycled polyamide and recycled spandex using the bonding technique, which prevents pesky seams. The RAIL FINGER CUT means that the fingers are slightly pre-curved and the material has been pulled over the fingertips for added durability. The MURNAU’s perfect fit is enhanced by a comfortable neoprene cuff with stylish embossed elements and a Velcro fastener. The soft yet non-slip ECO.SENSE® suede on the palm and on the big soft-wipe thumb feels like real suede, yet it consists of 60% recycled polyester and 40% conventional polyester. The textile used for the TOUCHSCREEN COMPATIBLE functionality is made from 60% regenerated materials. This glove is ideal for long tours or bumpy terrain thanks to ROECKL’s COMFORT-INNOVATION padding between thumb and index finger as well as the thin, durable XRD® Technology padding. The siliconization ensures a secure and tactile grip on the handlebar. Holes punched into the backhand increase ventilation of the palm. And the glove’s visual design is cool, too: The ROECKL lettering and the ROECKL transfer hand are reflective yet tonally matched.
