The first thing you’ll notice about the MELLAU GTX freeriding glove from ROECKL SPORTS’ ecologically orientated, PFC-free ECO.SERIES is its technical design with lots of leather and exciting lines. It is also sure to be a favorite with fans of deep powder snow who value performance. The 100% recycled Eco Polyester Dull will follow your hands’ and finger’s every move with ease. The rest of the backhand and palm are made from robust drum-dyed goatskin of premium quality. This natural material has been rendered water-repellent and will stay flexible even in freezing temperatures. Thanks to its anatomically pre-curved fingers, the RAIL FINGER CUT ensures an excellent fit. The leather extends over the fingertips to efficiently reduce wear and tear, while the CUT-PROTECT trimmings on the thumb, index finger and edge of the hand protect the gloves from the sharp edges of the skis. Warmth, breathability and grip are all made possible by the GTX inserts with Gore grip technology. The innovative GORE-TEX membrane makes this glove waterproof, windproof and breathable; not to mention that it’s also PFC-free and certified by both bluesign® and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The Eco Fleece lining inside the palm and Eco Highloft Fleece lining inside the backhand further enhance this model’s warmth and wearing comfort. The soft-wipe thumb consists of soft, mostly recycled ECO.SENSE® suede, and thanks to the recycled safety loop, the MELLAU GTX will always stay on your hand.
