Those really hot summer days are the IBIO’s time to shine and show its true qualities as an airy, lightweight, high-performance summer biking glove. What’s more, like all products from ROECKL SPORTS’ innovative ECO.SERIES, this model is PFC-free and consists of ecologically minded materials, most of which have been reconstituted. First and foremost: fully recycled eco.suntan™ mesh for the backhand made from 82% recycled polyamide and 18% recycled spandex. Not only is this material super elastic and breathable – it also lets the sun’s rays pass through to prevent pesky tan lines. The robust, high-grip yet soft ECO.SENSE® on the ergonomically cut palm feels as supple as real suede, but is in fact made of 92% polyester, 60% of which is originally recycled. The centerpiece of the palm is the high-performance, breathable, and lightweight BIOcore foam padding made from 45% plant-based – i.e. sustainable – raw materials. This ecofriendly padding for biking gloves developed exclusively by ROECKL SPORTS ensures top-notch shock absorption, comfort, tactility, and longevity. The patented, seamless COMFORT-INNOVATION padding is also on board, providing optimum support for the area between the thumb and index finger, which is under particular strain when biking. And when your bike tour is over, simply pull off the IBIO using the convenient PULL OFF SYSTEM which, like the rest of the glove, consists in large part of recycled materials.
