The backhand is made from silky smooth, highly breathable and entirely recycled ECO.BREEZE® Hakone polyester that extends all the way to the palm where it meets premium drum-dyed sheepskin that is both supple and water-repellent. That plus the offset rivets let you know this glove is EXTRA WARM just by looking at it. The thin yet durable GORE-TEX membrane – which is also certified by bluesign® and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, by the way – makes this model permanently waterproof, windproof and breathable. It is complemented by GTX inserts with Gore plus warm technology and PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with P.U.R.E.™ technology. P.U.R.E. stands for “produced using reduced emissions,” meaning the levels of CO2 expelled during the manufacturing process are extremely reduced. Because there’s no such thing as too much warmth for your fingers up in the mountains, the soft Eco Sherpa fleece lining on the inside of the backhand efficiently keeps it inside the glove where it belongs. And the breathable, slightly thinner Eco lining inside the palm ensures a good grip on the ski poles. Convenient: Thanks to the recycled safety loop, the glove will always stay on your hand.
