Like all gloves from ROECKL SPORTS’ ECO.SERIES, the technical children’s model ANDALO GTX is characterized by its consistent use of recycled materials. This feature is complemented by the EXTRA WARM label and its puffed look. The backhand is made from ECO.BREEZE® Uyuni – a four-way stretch polyamide textile consisting of 93% pyrolysis oil – a recycled TPU membrane and 7% spandex. Pyrolysis oil is derived from recycling old car tires, thereby reducing the need for fossil resources. The innovative and durable GORE-TEX membrane is certified by both bluesign® and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® and makes this glove both water- and windproof while remaining highly breathable. The PrimaLoft® Gold insulation in combination with the Eco lining keeps the warmth inside the glove, creates excellent wearing comfort and ensures a good grip on the ski poles. The lofty Eco Sherpa Fleece in the palm also efficiently prevents warmth from escaping. The palm and parts of the backhand of the ANDALO GTX are made from robust, non-slip drum-dyed goatskin of premium quality. It was made water-repellent without using PFCs and stays supple even in icy temperatures. This model was designed using the RAIL FINGER CUT where the fingers are anatomically pre-curved and the material extends over the fingertips for even better protection against wear and tear. The fit is optimized by a neoprene cuff with a Velcro fastener. Thanks to the pull-on aid, kids can easily slip into the glove all on their own, while the recycled safety loop makes sure the glove always stays on the hand.
