Rab Solar Ultra 3

The Solar Ultra combines the power of technical and recycled materials and embodies Rab's commitment to developing more sustainable yet high-performance gear. The Solar Ultra 3 is quick-drying, lightweight and robust, equipped with heat-reflecting TILT technology and offers excellent thermal performance despite its low weight. The slim, tapered mummy shape ensures less bulk and weight, which is ideal for fast adventures with as little gear as possible in cold winter temperatures.
The three-layer insulation material made from 100% recycled Stratus™ Eco is arranged in an accordion shape and mimics the function of down in a lightweight, featherless construction. The integrated TILT technology reduces the loss of radiant heat by up to 15%, significantly improves thermal insulation and does not affect the size, breathability or weight of the sleeping bag. The quilted elastic inner material nestles closer to the wearer with inner lining and insulation, thus avoiding cold bridges.
By quilting in places, the insulating lining is connected with as few quilting seams as possible to reduce the risk of cold bridges. It has a ¾-long main zipper with a wind protection chamber along its entire length to prevent body heat from escaping to the outside and an adjustable, cozy thermal collar that can be fastened with the same function. With its robust 20D-Atmos™ recycled polyester outer fabric, the Solar Ultra is the ultimate synthetic sleeping bag for the mountains or for cyclingand backpacking trips with as little gear as possible.
