Thanks to its L-shaped main zipper and rectangular construction, this versatile sleeping bag can be used as a down comforter or combined with a second sleeping bag to create a spacious double sleeping bag. The high-quality 650FP European duck down fill, treated with a Nikwax® Fluorocarbon-Free Hydrophobic Finish, provides excellent insulation and moisture resistance.
The 30D Pertex Quantum outer material with trapezoidal boxwall construction optimizes the loft of the down and offers maximum warmth. In addition, the sleeping bag is equipped with synthetic Stratus insulation in the neck area to prevent heat loss. An integrated inner compartment with YKKzipper allows valuables to be stored safely and provides quick access.
The Outpost 500 is ideal for use around a campfire, in a motorhome or on micro adventures. Its square cut offers enough space for your feet, and the option of connecting the sleeping bags with a zipper makes it particularly flexible to use. The sleeping bag is supplied with two different pack sacks: a compact one for transportation and a cottonstorage bag for storage at home.
