This unisex backpack is equipped with numerous practical features, including a removable hip belt with an easily detachable buckle, two HeadLocker ice axe holders and a secure strap for carrying the rope. For added flexibility, many of these parts can be removed, making the Latok 38 ideal for light mountain days. The ultra-durable Cordura material combination with Spectra® Ripstop and Hydroshield ensures durability and waterproofness, while the snow shedding back panel prevents snow from accumulating on the back.
The X-SHIELD™ back system is designed to be close to your back for maximum freedom of movement. The double-density foam straps are thicker at the top for more comfort and thinner at the bottom to better adapt to your body. The straps move with you for an optimal fit. The upper compression straps stabilize the pack close to the body, and the lower straps can also be used as an A-Frame-ski carry option.
