The Insect Shield® Ferrosi Trail Gaiter combines abrasion resistance, weather protection and dirt repellency - ideal for demanding, insect-rich terrain. Now with a new design, it features Outdoor Research's legendary Ferrosi fabric, a bluesign®certified recycled nylon blend material that is lightweight and durable. Insect Shield® technology keeps insects out and protects against distractions and illnesses. A flat elastic band at the top hem, a lace hook and a robust Hypalon instep strap ensure a secure fit on long hikes and approaches. The adjustable inner instep strap adjusts without removing the boot, and the offset hookand Velcro closure helps differentiate left and right. Reflective logos improve visibility in low light conditions. An essential accessory for multi-day tours in technical, insect-infested terrain, offering versatile, robust protection for all-day alpine adventure.
