The Ortlieb adapter allows you to easily and securely attach Travel-Biker or Trunk-Bag (with ORTLIEB-Adapter 06/2004 - 2015) to your second bike. Ideal for travelers who want to remain flexible, this adapter is also ideal for attaching a rear bike basket to the luggage carrier. Please note that the mounting plate for rear bicycle basket (Art.No. E160) is also required for this.
Thanks to its compatibility with Quick-Lock1, Quick-Lock2 and Quick-Lock2.1 systems, bike panniers can be attached to the side and securely locked. This makes the adapter particularly versatile and practical for unisexusers who like to travel. A note: The adapter is not suitable for e-bikes with a battery under the rack and panniers with a Rack-Lock adapter.
