Mountain Equipment Trango Mens Jacket

Our dual layer offset baffle construction is combined with a heat reflective internal fabric to make the Trango a light, mobile and highly packable duvet. Technologies and manufacturing processes

  • Down 700

Our duck down contains at least 90% down, has a fillpower of at least 700 cuin and is DOWN CODEX® certified.
  • DRILITE® Loft

DRILITE® Loft is the name of our PU-coated outer material used in down and synthetic jackets and sleeping bags. It is lightweight, very breathable, windproof and water repellent.
  • DOWN CODEX®

The DOWN CODEX® is more than a collection of rules - it is a promise that the down in all our products is sourced in compliance with the strictest animal welfare guidelines. Supply chains are 100% transparent and the quality of down batches is viewable and traceable online.
  • EthicalFair Wear Foundation

Mountain Equipment has been a member of the non-profit organization "Fair Wear Foundation" since 2012 and is thus committed to implementing the highest standards for socially just working conditions in all operating and production facilities.
  • Offset chamber design

The unique, patent-pending 2-layer offset chamber construction provides more wind protection and thermal insulation than previous down jacket constructions. In addition, thanks to narrow chambers, it is significantly more comfortable to wear than comparably warm but often bulky boxwall jackets. To achieve this, quilted down chambers are sewn to a heat-reflecting inner layer in a staggered pattern. This eliminates cold bridges and provides maximum warmth.
