Mountain Equipment Earthrise Mens Jacket
The Earthrise Mens Jacket from Mountain Equipment is the ideal choice for environmentally conscious outdoorenthusiasts. This men's jacket combines high-quality recycled materials with outstanding functionality and offers a sustainable solution for winter adventures. The lightweight and down-proof Earthrise 20D outer material is made from 100% recycled polyamide and has a water-repellent, PFC-free DWR finish to keep you dry even in wet weather.
With 143g of recycled down (size L) and a fill power of at least 700 cuin, the jacket offers excellent insulation without being heavy. The narrow, quilted down chambers ensure even heat distribution and prevent cold bridges. The inner material is also made from 100% recycled 20D polyamide, which is soft and comfortable against the skin.
Practical features such as the 2-Wege-Front-Zipper by YKK® with insulated cover strip, two zippered-side pockets, a chest pocket and a zippered-inside pocket for valuables make this jacket particularly functional. The elasticated cuffs and adjustable drawstrings offer additional comfort and protection from wind and weather. A special highlight is the option to stow the jacket in one of the side pockets, which is equipped with carabinerloops - perfect for on the go.
Weighing just 390g, the Earthrise Mens Jacket is lightweight yet robust, ideal for mountain tours and everyday use in the city. The use of 100% recycled polyamide for the outer and inner material as well as recycled down underlines Mountain Equipment's commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

Technologies and manufacturing processes
Down Cycle
The DOWN CYCLE® project is part of our strategy to act more sustainably. The project started in 2017 when we introduced 100% recycled down into our Earthrise apparel line. In the long term, we want to create a closed-loop recycling system where down clothing and sleeping bags that are no longer needed or at the end of their life are not simply thrown away.Fair Wear
Mountain Equipment has been a member of the non-profit organization "Fair Wear Foundation" since 2012 and is thus committed to implementing the highest standards for socially just working conditions in all operating and production facilities.
