The upper is made from 55% plant- and grape resin and 45% water-PU, while the inner lining is made from a bamboo-polyester-mix. The sole is robust and offers additional stability thanks to its stitching to the upper material. The 100% organiccotton laces and the use of vegan, water-based adhesives underline the commitment to animal-friendly and sustainable production.

The grape waste is mixed with water-based PU and applied to a recycled polyester fabric to create a leather-like material. As VEGEA does more and more research, they can improve their production. Their latest materials contain 55% grape waste, which means that the other materials have been reduced proportionally.
