We designed the XA Elite II to be a versatile all-rounder for maximum riding enjoyment. It starts with Mavic's Energy Grip Trail outsole and its efficient power transfer. Its Contagrip® tread pattern is shaped for maximum traction in both dry and wet conditions. For comfort, the Ortholite® insole provides superior cushioning while pedaling and on foot. A Quick Lace lace closure with a Velcro upper strap allows for easy adjustment of fit and support. In addition, a welded toe cap provides even more protection from roots, rocks ... Contagrip® tread pattern provides excellent traction and durability on any surface - it's 25% more grippy in wet and dry conditions than the previous market-leading competitor. Injected toe cap for even more protection. Stiff inner plate provides efficient drive performance, but is also flexible enough for running passages. Bolted cleat cover for switching from flat to clipless pedals (and vice versa).

The upper Velcro strap provides excellent foot support. The Quick Lace lacing closure is easy to adjust. Endofit™ tongue wraps the foot in key areas for maximum comfort. Ortholite® insole provides superior cushioning on the pedal and on the run.

Thermo-glued construction combines multiple layers of material without overlap - for less weight and a low-abrasion surface. Lightweight anti-rip material on the upper shoe keeps dirt out and is easy to clean. Molded-in toe cap for better impact protection from the front.
