This lightweight yet durable upper is ideal for riding sockless and perfectly suited to the needs of a competitive triathlete. The key lies in the innovative weave of polyamide- and Kevlar-yarns. Each shoe is individually coated instead of having one layer on the entire upper, making the shoe lighter and more breathable. And strategically placed vents provide airflow into the shoe to further aid cooling and drying. The sole is made from our lightest material, the ultra-rigid unidirectional SLR carbon fiber, embedded with an epoxy thermal resin. The fibers are laid by hand and strategically positioned to optimize pedaling efficiency. Our signature Fast Strap closure makes it easy to fly through the transition and ensures a secure, comfortable fit without fuss. The wide main strap can be customized and a hook-and-loop closure under the Ortholiteinsole keeps it in placeduring transitions.
