Mammut Removable Airbag System 3.0

The Removable Airbag System 3.0 from Mammut is the ultimate safety solution for ski touring and freeskiingadventures. This avalanche airbag system is characterized by a square airbag in a bright signal color that inflates behind the head within about three seconds, enabling quick localization. With an airbag volume of 150 liters and a weight of only 690 grams without cartridge (1010 grams with carbon cartridge), it is the lightest airbag system from Mammut and offers maximum safety without additional weight.
The system is designed for extreme temperatures from -30 °C to +40 °C and remains fully functional regardless of weather- and temperature conditions thanks to the reliable pressurized gas technology. The height-adjustable and easily stowable T-shaped release handle ensures intuitive handling. The Removable Airbag System 3.0 is not compatible with the predecessor models of the 2.0 series, but offers full flexibility as it can be removed from the backpack independently and transferred to other compatible backpacks. This means the backpack can also be used for other activities.
Thanks to the very small pack size, the system is perfectly integrated into the backpack and does not interfere with the organization of the material. Another advantage is the simple commissioning: the cartridge only needs to be screwed in and the system is immediately ready for use.
