When developing Mammut's probes, attention is paid to every detail so that they fulfill their purpose: finding the target. The stable, lightweight probe made of robust aluminum has a glove-compatible, tension-resistant quick-releasetelescope system. This makes locking particularly quick and reliable. An audible click lets you know when the probe is correctly tensioned and ready for use.
The optimized visual 360-degree-depth guidance system ensures that you always have the right information at hand. The shaped tip penetrates compacted avalanche snow efficiently - saving you energy when probing. The lower part of the probe in orange serves as a visual guide when approaching buried victims. All Mammut avalanche probes are UIAA-certified and therefore efficient in rescue, durable and ergonomic in handling.
This probe with a total length of 280 cm measures only 45 cm when folded. A probe cover with integrated emergency plan is included, which makes handling and transportation easier. The Speed-Lock system enables a quick, individually lockable tensioning system that offers maximum stability. The tension-resistant, durable tensioning cord provides additional safety and stability.
