Mammut Magic Sling 12.0

The Magic Sling 12.0 from Mammut revolutionizes the field of climbing equipment with an innovative manufacturing process. A core of round-wound Dyneema® yarn is enclosed in an abrasion-resistant sheath, resulting in an ultra-robust round sling without a load-bearing connecting seam. This special construction significantly increases the knot strength compared to conventional webbing slings and therefore offers maximum safety when building belay stations or as an hourglass sling.
Thanks to the corejacket construction, in which the core carries the load and the sheath protects, the Magic Sling 12.0 is particularly resistant to damaging UVradiation and abrasion from rough rock. Even with intensive use, the sling retains its tensile strength, making it an indispensable companion for hikers and climbers.
With a weight of just 28 g and an impressive tensile strength of 22.00 kN, the Magic Sling 12.0 is not only lightweight, but also extremely durable. For the 2019 summer season, the sling's sheath construction has been revised to make it softer and more flexible, which further improves handling and knotability.
