The Kento Mountain High GTX Men from Mammut is the ideal companion for demanding mountaineers and alpine touring enthusiasts. Equipped with a robust GORE-TEX® membrane, this men's mountain boot offers optimum protection against the wet and ensures a pleasant foot climate, regardless of the weather conditions. The high shaft height and gusseted design give the boot stability and support, while the 2zone lacing allows for individual adjustment to ensure the perfect fit in any situation.
Thanks to the innovative 3D Memo Foam technology, the padding adapts perfectly to the shape of the foot and prevents blisters, even on longer tours. The rubber scree protection edge and the raised rubber edge strip offer additional protection against sharp-edged stones and scree. The Kento Mountain High GTX is also equipped with a Vibram® Hexa Tech sole, which provides excellent grip on demanding terrain and is also convincing on rocky ground thanks to its climbing zone at the toe.
This mountain boot is fully crampon-compatible and is perfect for use with fully automatic crampons with toggle and metal stirrup, making it ideal for glacier hikes and high alpine adventures. The TPU toe cap and TPU heel stabilizer provide additional protection and stability, while the insulating insole keeps the foot warm even in extreme temperatures up to -25°C.
