This super-light carbon fiber cartridge weighs only approx. 310 g and meets the highest weight-saving requirements. This makes it around 50% lighter than conventional steel or aluminum cartridges.
The cartridge is filled with nitrogen and the filling pressure is controlled by weight, which provides additional safety. It is compatible with the Removable Airbag System (R.A.S.) and the Protection Airbag System as well as with Snowpulse® avalanche airbags from the 2011-2012 winter season. An essential component of the avalanche airbag system, the cartridge must be refilled by the manufacturer after deployment.
