Mammut Alpine Trad Sling

A must-have for alpine, ice, trad and multi-pitch climbers, the single-strand Alpine Trad Sling offers faster and safer handling compared to traditional round slings. Instead of pulling it over your head and arm, you simply release the carabiner and pull the sling off your torso wearing it over your shoulder like a regular sling. The Alpine Trad Sling uses the same amount of material as a round sling, but instead of being sewn into a closed ring, the single-strand design features a sewn loop at each end to attach a carabiner. Intermediate belays can be quickly and easily shortened from 120 to 60 or 30cm. The design also reduces accidental unhooking of carabiners or the rope. 100% ultralight Dyneema material with the following advantages over normal nylon: higher strength/weight ratio, less water absorption and higher abrasion resistance.
