The facts at a glance
Mammut 7.5 Alpine Sender Dry Rope 70m
The 7.5 Alpine Sender Dry Rope from Mammut is a must-have for ambitious mountaineers and climbers looking for an ultra-light and versatile rope. With a diameter of just 7.50 mm and a weight of 39 g/m, this rope offers an impressive combination of lightness and robustness, making it ideal for demanding activities such as ice climbing, alpine climbing and alpine tours. Thanks to the special Sender construction and the high-quality yarns, the rope is not only lightweight, but also extremely easy to handle and durable.
A special feature of the rope is its durable water and dirt-repellent coating in accordance with UIAA standards, which ensures maximum safety even under the harshest conditions. With a water absorption of less than 1.5% in the UIAA tests, the rope is ideal for use in damp and icy environments. The dry finish also ensures increased abrasion resistance, which significantly extends the service life of the rope.
The 7.5 Alpine Sender Dry Rope is doubly certified as a half and twin rope and therefore offers maximum flexibility for different climbing situations. The abrasion-resistant center marking facilitates handling and planning when climbing, while the rope is ready for immediate use thanks to its freedom from hanks and does not need to be unwound before first use. With a breaking strength of 5.6 / 8.8 and the ability to withstand up to 7 UIAA falls, this rope offers the necessary safety and reliability for demanding climbing tours.
