The C14 from Lupine innovatively combines a taillight and seatpost clamp in an elegant and functional design developed specifically for e-bikes. This taillight stands out for its minimalist aesthetic and high functionality. Made of sturdy, CNC-machined aluminum with a black anodized finish, it’s not only a visual highlight but also extremely resistant to the elements. With 14 powerful COB LEDs, the C14 delivers an impressive light output of 80 lumens in brake light mode, ensuring excellent visibility in traffic.
A special feature of the C14 is its built-in G-sensor, which automatically detects any braking deceleration and briefly brightens the light significantly. This significantly increases safety, especially in heavy traffic or poor visibility. The special Fresnel lens also ensures even light distribution and a 360-degree field of view, so the taillight is clearly visible from nearly every angle without blinding other road users.
The C14 is fully compliant with the StVZO and is therefore approved for road use in Germany. It can be connected directly to the light output of the e-bike motor and is compatible with common drive systems such as Bosch, Brose, Shimano, and Yamaha. Weighing just 35 grams, it blends seamlessly into the bike’s overall design without compromising its appearance or handling.
