• VIBRAM MOTTARONE ARCTIC GRIP

  The TIBET SUPERWARM GTX Ws model is equipped with a Vibram Arctic Grip sole. This is a state-of-the-art sole technology. The sole is a special rubber compound designed for high performance and quality. The concept of the sole aims to provide good grip on snowy surfaces. The coarse lugs of the VIBRAM MOTTARONE ARCTIC GRIP with its special Ice-Trek rubber compound are the assets of the winter performance sole. This makes getting around in winter so much fun.

• GORE-TEX DURATHERM

  In extremely cold weather conditions, the feet of the TIBET SUPERWARM GTX Ws are protected by a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane with a highly insulating lining layer. Durably waterproof The membrane is reliably waterproof. No matter what adventure you're planning, you can firmly rely on the GORE-TEX technology to keep your feet comfortably dry. High breathability Designed for optimized breathability, GORE-TEX footwear keeps you comfortable even during intense activities. Water cannot penetrate, while water vapor can escape from the inside through the billions of pores in the GORE-TEX membrane. Good insulation A specially designed, breathable insulation layer provides extra comfort - no matter when and where you need it. This guarantees comfortable protection even in low temperatures.

• WOMEN'S LISTS

  To ensure an optimal fit, the last of the BARINA EVO GTX Ws is specially adapted to the female anatomy. The last is largely responsible for ensuring that the shoe fits well. Since women's feet have a smaller volume, the instep height and the circumference of the ball of the foot, for example, are adjusted.

• X-LACING

  So the tongue sits where it belongs - without slipping and pressure points: With the X-LACING technology, this is easily possible with the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws. The special lacing fixes the tongue both vertically and horizontally. Since the lacing is thereby independent of the individual height of the instep, this construction is ideally suited for every foot. Due to this lacing technology, the pressure of the laces is no longer transferred only to the hooks, but flat to the entire tongue.

• FLEXFIT®

  If the upper of a hiking boot can be bent slightly, the foot can roll better. This saves energy, especially when walking uphill, and provides noticeable comfort. For this reason, LOWA has incorporated a flexible zone and a so-called "Lace Loop" in the area of the arch of the foot in the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws. This refers to the offset of the eyelet and the use of a flexible deep draw hook, which improves the heel fit and facilitates flexion.

• I-LOCK

  Simply tighten and fix: To simplify lacing, LOWA has developed a special clamp hook for the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws. This allows lacing in two zones. After the lacing has been tightened in the lower area of the shoe, the lace can be blocked via this clamping hook. By simply pressing the hook upwards, the clamping is released and the instep lacing can be loosened.

• ROLLER EYELETS

  To ensure that the laces run flexibly and smoothly through the eyelets, small balls in the metal loops of the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws minimize friction.

• C4-TONGUE

  With this special construction of the tongue, the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws is noticeably more comfortable to wear. For example, the tongue has thicker padding on the outside of the foot and a soft finish at the top. This asymmetrical padding provides effectively coordinated support in different areas of the foot. Furthermore, to accommodate the anatomy of the feet, the cutouts for the ankle areas are higher on the inside than on the outside. In addition, a flexible flex insert is integrated on the inside of the foot.

• MINIMAL SEAMS

  The FERROX GTX LO Ws avoids seams and material overlaps by using large-area upper parts. This reduces possible pressure points, which has a positive effect on wearing comfort.

• Basket crampons

  The TIBET SUPERWARM GTX Ws is suitable for "strap-on crampons". These are lightweight crampons for mountaineering and approach shoes that do not have a front or rear sole edge. Flexibility Basket crampons are light and flexible, and thus do not completely hinder the rolling of the foot. Therefore, they are suitable for light alpine tours that have little combination terrain and rock contact. • PrimaLoft® 400

  The ALPINE EXPERT II GTX Ws defies particularly cold conditions thanks to a high-quality synthetic fiber insulation with a filling of 400 g/m². The insulation performance comparable to down ensures pleasantly warm feet even in wintry conditions. Optimal thermal performance The PrimaLoft® insulation offers an optimal ratio of thermal performance to own weight and volume. The heat retention is comparable to that of a good goose down. At the same time, the fibers are so thin and soft that they flexibly adapt to the shape of the body. Water-resistant The PrimaLoft® insulation is water-resistant. The material retains its shape even when wet. The ultra-fine microfibers are given a water-repellent treatment during the manufacturing process with a special finish anchored in the fiber. Thanks to this special treatment, moisture does not adhere to the fibers. Ideal wearing comfort The PrimaLoft® insulation ensures a high level of wearing comfort. Due to the very low fiber thickness, a good heat retention can be generated. The fibers trap more air for the same volume, but can also be compressed small. On the one hand, this ensures a high level of wearing comfort, and on the other hand, a high recovery of the fibers and a long-lasting dimensional stability of the insulation.

• Resole

• TWO ZONE LACING

  Thanks to the two-zone lacing, the LAVENA EVO GTX Ws has forefoot and upper with separately adjustable lacing zones. This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for uphill and downhill walking.
