• LOWA® GT

  The MERGER GTX LO is equipped with a LOWA RUBBER OUTSOLE. This is a rubber outsole designed by LOWA with an application-specific tread design made from an optimized rubber compound. The advantage of a rubber outsole is its good grip. The LOWA® GT rubber sole is characterized by its angular tread design. This ensures a large contact area and thus a good grip in light terrain or in urban environments.

• Gore-Tex

  Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: The TORO PRO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. This innovative technology ensures optimum waterproofness and breathability. Permanently waterproof The membrane is reliably waterproof. No matter what adventure you are planning, you can rely on the GORE-TEX technology to keep your feet pleasantly dry. High breathability Designed for optimized breathability, GORE-TEX shoes ensure pleasant comfort even during intensive activities. Water cannot penetrate, while water vapor can escape from the inside through the billions of pores in the GORE-TEX membrane. Windproof The GORE-TEX membrane reliably keeps wind and weather at bay. This means you can go on tours in any weather.

• ANATOMICAL FIT

  The midsole of the MERGER GTX LO Ws is specially adapted to the natural conditions of the foot to increase comfort and counteract fatigue. • MINIMAL SEAMS

  The FORTUX GTX Ws avoids seams and material overlaps thanks to the use of large upper sections. This reduces potential pressure points, which has a positive effect on wearer comfort.

• SINGLE INJECTION

  The MERGER GTX LO Ws is a shoe in which the outsole is directly molded to the shoe. This method of production creates a highly precise and very strong connection between the sole and the upper. Lightness This process uses the plastic polyurethane. This is a very lightweight foam. Cushioning The plastic polyurethane is a foam that has very good cushioning properties. Even if the millions of small bubbles are frequently compressed, they still retain their shape and bounce back to their original state. This ensures a good rebound effect. Wide range of design options Direct injection allows the sole to be designed in completely different ways. The versatile properties of the materials used thus enable the shoes to be used in a wide range of applications.

• STABILITY FRAME

  In the MERGER GTX JUNIOR VCR LO model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA MONOWRAP® frame ensures the best comfort. This is a three-dimensional midsole design developed by LOWA in 1995. This frame comfortably cradles the foot, providing support on uneven surfaces. In shoes with a STABILITY FRAME, the sole construction is thereby widely raised. Good guidance of the foot The three-dimensional design of the frame ensures that the foot is optimally embedded in the shoe. Increased comfort The special construction of the midsole ensures a comfortable stance in the shoe. The foot is pleasantly embraced by the three-dimensional frame. Lightness The LOWA MONOWRAP® frame is made of polyurethane plastic. This is a very lightweight material.

• LOWA DynaPU®

  The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe. In the TORO PRO GTX MID Ws, this consists of a specially developed synthetic material: LOWA DynaPU®. The special feature: Even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its restoring force. Thus, the shoes made from it have very good cushioning properties even after many kilometers.
