The TX Guide from La Sportiva is the most technical shoe in the TX Series and was specially developed for technical approaches and mountaineering. Ideal for mountain guides and all those who work on the mountain and need high-performance and durable footwear. The TX Guide is versatile, lightweight and offers optimal protection, making it perfect for walk-run & climb adventures. Its design is based on a combination of running- and climbing elements, recognizable by the sole, rand and lacing.
The new Tech Fit fit, which is sleek and close-fitting, ensures maximum performance. The stable lace offers optimal grip on edges during mountaineering. The highly abrasion-resistant mesh shank optimizes internal volume and features microfiber protective reinforcements on the inside and TPU reinforcements on the outside to ensure abrasion resistance. The asymmetrical Approach-style lacing up to the toe ensures maximum fit accuracy, while the rear is reminiscent of the Mythos-style-look and enables perfect closure at the heel.
The climbing-inspired protective rand is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The tongue construction, inspired by running shoes, prevents objects from penetrating thanks to the bellows construction. The sole and midsole combination consists of double-density compressed EVA for cushioning at the heel and stabilization at the midfoot. The front midsole is equipped with a TPU layer in two-component injection molding technology, which serves as an intermediate layer as well as a Climbing zone and Rock Guard layer on the forefoot.
The double Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip compound sole offers the perfect combination of grip and durability. The wide heel provides support when braking downhill and more grip when climbing uphill. The TX Guide: Be your own guide.
