This shoe is the leatherversion of the most technical model in the TX Series and combines the flexibility of split leather and suedeleather with the robustness of nubuckleather. Specially developed for mountain guides and mountaineering enthusiasts, the Tx Guide Leather offers a lightweight, versatile and protective design. The asymmetric lacing, friction-resistant eyelets and overlap tongue ensure optimal wrapping and adaptation to the shape of the foot. The stable toe ensures a secure grip on edges, while the "climbing-inspired" protective edge made of PU-TECH Lite material offers additional protection.
The sole and midsole are equipped with a dual-density EVA construction that guarantees both cushioning at the heel and stability in the midfoot area. The TPU layer on the front of the midsole serves as a stabilizer for the climbing zone and protects the forefoot. The dual Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip compound of the sole provides optimal grip and durability, with the wide heel providing braking on downhill and additional grip on uphill.
