Thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ heel construction, the shoe offers excellent walking properties: The pronounced geometry of the double heel construction improves braking properties when walking downhill and enables smoother rolling behavior, which is easy on the muscles.
The combination of durability and lightness is achieved by the new sole/midsole unit with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam, which provides more cushioning and lightness. The ergonomic design precisely wraps the foot and is supported by integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel as well as reinforcements of the upper material.
The 3D Flex System Evo™ enables better step control and perfect ankle mobility thanks to the molded ankle and abrasion-resistant protection. The midsole of the Aequilibrium LT GTX is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, while the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs ensures optimal adaptation to hard rock surfaces.
