Replacement element ceramic for Katadyn Expedition Filter. Microporous ceramic with firmly anchored silver reliably retains suspended solids, all harmful bacteria and parasites such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. Silver quartz gravel inside acts as a disinfectant and controls re-germination through the effluent during extended periods of downtime. The Katadyn ceramic produces fresh drinking water without the use of chemicals.
