Katadyn Befree Gravity Filter 6.0L - Blau

The sleek, foldable Katadyn BeFree Gravity 6L filtration system uses gravity to deliver fresh, clean water you can trust. At the heart of the BeFree Gravity 6L is the EZ-Clean Membrane™, which allows for an extra fast flow rate of 2 liters per minute. The water passes through a hollow fiber filter that reliably removes bacteria, cysts and sediments with its pore size of 0.1 micron (0.0001 mm). Thanks to the viewing window, the water level in the filter bag is clearly visible. With the convenient carrying strap, the filled filter can be easily transported from the water source back to camp and hung in a nearby tree. The outlet hose can be easily removed via a quick-release valve with automatic spill stop, which prevents contact with contaminated water during refilling. The capacity of the filter is up to 1000L, depending on the water quality. To clean the EZ-Clean MembraneTM it is enough to shake or swish it in water in the field or at home. Filtered water can be stored in a separate canister, bottle or water bag. The opening of the canister, bottle, or bag for filtered water should be as small as possible to prevent dirt from entering. If the filtered water is not used the same day, it can be safely and easily preserved with Katadyn Micropur.
